Sogno Impossibile
Represents the combination of two live operatic events, one which was performed at Teatro Piccolo, a theatre owned and managed by La Biennale and one which was performed at La Granaries. The Sofia Philharmonic, led by Maestro Martin Panteleev, performed at both events.
Both events were produced and filmed by Meistre Cinema, with the backstory filmed by independent camera crew members based in the UK.
Mr Tillman served as Director of both events while Ms Bradford served as local Orchestra and Chorus Manager in Venice for the Sofia Philharmonic. She also collaborated with Niccolo Atelier on costumes for both performances.
Maria Callas memorabilia for La Granaries performance was provided by Mr Bruno Tosi, Chairman of the Maria Callas Foundation, less than a month prior to his untimely death in September 2012.
The Teatro Piccolo event, which took three years to plan and execute, represented something unique in musical/operatic history.
