Patron of Children's Party at the Palace

 

Patron of HM ERII 80th Birthday Party at the Palace held in June 2006 at Buckingham Palace.

 

The Children's Party was designed to be a celebration of British Children's literature, both traditional and modern, to encourage children to read and enjoy books.

 

The event brought together the British literacy community in a way that benefits children from all backgrounds and cultures.
